Air By Pleasant Travel Protection Plan
Through our trusted partner Trip Mate, we offer a travel protection plan for air arrangements purchased through Air by Pleasant, a division of Pleasant Holidays®, that includes benefits such as trip interruption, trip delay, accident and sickness medical expense (COVID is treated as any other sickness), baggage and personal effects, missed connection and more. Part A: Cancel For Any Reason Waiver (provided by Air by Pleasant)*:
The travel protection plan includes a non-insurance Cancel For Any Reason Waiver that must be purchased at time of booking, and cannot be purchased with a Future Travel Credit (FTC). Our flight protection plan offers benefits, coverage and assistance services designed to meet travelers’ needs at affordable rates for air arrangements purchased through Air by Pleasant, a division of Pleasant Holidays®, should they need to change OR cancel their Air by Pleasant flight arrangements prior to departure. What We will do under this Waiver: If you cancel Your Trip for any reason before the scheduled Trip departure, We will waive Our corresponding cancellation penalties and reimburse You in cash or in Air by Pleasant Future Travel Credits (depending on Your reason for cancellation) for the nonrefundable portion of the Trip Cost up to a maximum of $12,500.
On a one-time basis, You have the option to have any supplier change fees refunded, if You make changes to Your Trip. However, the Waiver is voided after the one-time charge coverage is utilized.
Please Note: This Waiver does not cover fees or costs associated with any transportation, accommodations, or other travel services that are not arranged by Air by Pleasant. Any amount payable under this Waiver will be reduced by the amount of any Trip Cancellation amounts paid or payable under any other travel insurance or travel protection plan providing Trip Cancellation benefits.
How You are reimbursed under this Waiver:
If You cancel Your Trip before the scheduled Trip departure for any of the Specified Reasons, listed under Part A of the plan documents, which first occur after Your purchase of this Plan and before Your scheduled Trip departure, We will reimburse You in cash.
If you cancel Your Trip before the scheduled Trip departure for any other reason, We will reimburse You with an Air by Pleasant Future Travel Credit that can be used for future transportation, accommodations, and other travel services arranged by Us. The limitations on that Air by Pleasant Travel Credit are explained below.

Air by Pleasant requires notice of cancellation. This benefit covers only those Travel Arrangements purchased from Air by Pleasant. Air by Pleasant requires written notice of cancellation during normal business hours. This benefit covers only those Flight Arrangements purchased from Air by Pleasant.
Air by Pleasant travel certificates are issued in the names of the passengers in the original reservations and are non-refundable, non-transferrable, valid for one year from date of issue (but no later than 15 months from the date your Air by Pleasant Travel Arrangements were cancelled) and may not be redeemed for cash.

*For residents of NY, MN, MS or WA: Part A Cancel For Any Reason Waiver can be purchased separately from the rest of the plan. When purchased separately, the Part A Cancel For Any Reason Waiver is non-refundable. Contact Air by Pleasant in order to purchase the Cancellation Fee Waiver separately.
Part B: Post-Departure Travel Insurance benefits (underwritten by United States Fire Insurance Company) along with other non-insurance services:
